Having released their mini album ‘Hello‘, NU’EST revealed their thoughts about making a comeback during their press conference held on the 13th, even addressing the rivalry between them and fellow idol group B.A.P, who has also just made their comeback.
The boys attended the event, which was held at the Interpark Art Center, and revealed their feelings about the tough idol market as they named B.A.P as one rival group, having debuted around the same time frame, and stated, “It’d be a lie to say we don’t concern ourselves about them.”
Baekho added, “It’s true that we do have B.A.P on our minds. For me, I think B.A.P has turned out well. I do get a bit jealous about their active role [in the market]… Seeing B.A.P, I thought that we should work hard as well,” revealing his honest thoughts.
Having made their comeback after 6 months, JR commented, “We practiced really hard with the mind set to do really well during the past 6 months of hiatus. Please continue to watch over NU’EST.”

Member Minhyun of Nu’est recently has confessed that he hasn’t been in love with anyone.
In recent interview with enews, he confessed ” As of now, I haven’t been in love with anyone. Of course I also haven’t had my first kiss yet” and revealed that he is lacking of love experience. Born in Busan, Minhyun, with his 181cm-height and handsome look, is gaining lots of love from noona fans.
A boy group of seventeen members is coming soon.
Agency Pledis, representing Son Dam Bi, After School, NU’EST, and others, are preparing the debut of a boy group. Seventeen (the group’s tentative name), consisting of seventeen members, aims to make its debut later this year.
The group with the most members so far, is SM’s Super Junior, which aims to advance overseas markets. However, Seventeen, consisting of seventeen members of their average age of seventeen, is to take over the title.
Pledis set a different strategy whereby the group will make its debut in overseas markets as well as in domestic market rather than making a debut in domestic and advancing to overseas by a conventional strategy.
On an online community site, a video about teenage school bullying had been posted and is currently becoming the biggest problem for the teenagers.
The poster of this video had also left a small note saying “I listened to the rookie group, NU’EST’s song and I could remember the hard times I had during my young age. I hope the teenagers reduce the amount of pain they have these days.”
Less than a month after their debut, NU’EST’s members Minhyun and Ren have been chosen to walk on the runway for Seoul’s Fashion Week.
On April 7, the two members will walk down the runway for Park Youn Soo’s fashion show for his F/W 2012-2013 collection for Big Park.
Seoul Fashion Week is Korea’s biggest fashion event where some of the top names in the fashion world, display their works through some of Korea’s best fashion models. The fact NU’EST, who are complete rookies in the entertainment world, will be sharing the same stages as big stars such as Kang Dong Won, Cha Seung Won and Jang Yoon Ju is a great honor for the group.
NU’EST’s agency, Pledis, said, “NU’EST members Ren and Minhyun’s tall heights and visuals are easily comparable to the other models and the two will show diverse and different merits on the runway. It will be good to look forward to their new appearance.”
Pledis Entertainment‘s first boy group NU’EST will be meeting up with fans even before they make their official broadcast debut.
With MelOn Music, NU’EST will begin promoting themselves by meeting up with fans on March 10th and 17th at a special event for the release of the ‘Pledis Boys’ magazine, which features a history of records by Pledis artists and trainees.
Representatives stated, “We’ve decided to set up this fan meeting as a way of expressing our gratitude for the amount of love and interest shown in NU’EST even before their debut. There is a talk time segment for fans to communicate directly with NU’EST.”
The boys will be releasing their debut single “FACE” on March 15th.
